Overview
How to Use this Guide
This guide provides information and resources for teaching psychological disorders in an Introduction to Psychology course. All resources are Open Access and can be downloaded or added to a Course Management System (LMS) via the hyperlinks.
Introduction
This section will touch on a range of psychological disorders and an introduction to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5). Suicide will also be discussed.

Discuss what is normal vs. abnormal. Evaluate the definition of abnormality and how the definition of abnormality may differ across culturally or socially diverse communities.
